Wood is Good mallets are made of the finest New England hardwoods, carefully kiln dried, selected for no defects, turned & sanded to a silky feel. The head is molded from a urethane material, making it gentle on tool handles as they spread the load over a large area. The mallet is also gentle on your hands when using, & the mallet is also indestructible as well. The mallets are maintenance free. They do not have to be kept in a plastic bag or dipped in hat wax as is recommended for Lignum Vitae mallets. These mallets will last a lifetime of use. A high quality tool. Made in USA. -
